Sally SJ Brown researches, teaches and writes about yoga, health and wellbeing.
She teaches down-to-earth Hatha, relaxing Yin and Nidra and accessible Chair yoga in northern England. Her work is often in community settings and with older adults, autistic people (she is neuro-atypical herself) and folks with mental health challenges.
Sally is a 200 hour RYT trained yoga teacher with Yogacampus, a Regional Representative for the British Wheel of Yoga and an Ambassador for the Accessible Yoga Association. Her PhD research at Leeds Beckett University looks at the access to the health benefits of yoga for people with marginalised identities.
