Sally started teaching yoga in 2016. Her 200 hours Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) training was with Yogacampus, she is an ambassador for the Accessible Yoga Association and Northumberland Regional Representative for the British Wheel of Yoga.
She has studied Yin yoga with Norman Blair, Yoga Nidra with Melanie Cooper and Jennie Wadsten, chair yoga with Richard Kravetz, yoga anatomy with Julie Gudmestad, Buddhism and yoga with Richard Freeman and Robert Thurman and therapeutic yoga with Gary Kraftsow.
She teaches Hatha, Nidra, Yin and Chair yoga and works with older, neurodiverse and disabled people often in community settings. She offers sessions for community groups, families and individuals in Northumberland and Leeds in northern England.
Sally is currently undertaking Phd research at Leeds Beckett University School of Health looking at yoga diversity and accessibility for marginalised groups.
